Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri N.Biren Singh attended the MMA fighting at Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak as a part of Manipur Sangai Festival 2022.
On Friday and Saturday, Sangai MMA, 2022 will take place in Imphal’s Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium.
On November 23, Sangai MMA luminaries including Sharif M. Bapu, president of MMA India, and Kerrith Brown, president of the IMMAF, arrived in Imphal.
Additionally, all 48 competitors who will compete for the championship have landed. There are eight foreign competitors, twelve professionals, and twelve amateurs. In addition, the director and chairman of UFC Gym India are in Imphal for Sangai MMA.
Bollywood actor Pooja Chopra, a former Miss India, traveled to Imphal to take in the occasion.
Manipur Tourism is putting up the event as a part of Sangai Festival 2022 in collaboration with the 7 Sisters Foundation and UFC Gym Imphal.
The MMA India Officials conducted each fighter’s weigh-in at the UFC Gym Imphal. On March 25 and 26, Imphal will host MMA competitions of a really international caliber.
